Travelling from Rome to U.K. with a small dog. This hotel was ideally situated just off the motorway. Nothing otherwise special about it. The room was clean and quiet and the dog was catered for, which was important to us. Car park had a gate that closed at night. The staff spoke very little English and the resturant staff, none at all. The menu was in French, with English translation, which did not translate correctly to what we were given. That needs some work. The meal was nothing special. Did not take breakfast, which was an extra anyway, because we were up and away by 6am the next morning.

I would have recommended this hotel until finding out that a member of staff has cloned my credit card and went on a shopping spree!! Either there online booking system is not secure or the lady who took my payment in checkout took my details!
So there for I do not advise anyone to stay there.!!!!!

We booked into the Kyriad Mirande for one night on our way to the Alps from the UK. We booked over the phone and the person we spoke to was both charming and helpful. She secured us 2 interconnecting rooms, which was ideal for our family of 2 adults and 2 small children.

The hotel itself was very easy to reach, being a few hundred meters off our route! The night we were there it was busy (mainly stopping-over Brits like us, happily propping up the bar) but our rooms in the annex were very quiet, and I wasn't aware of any road noise either.) The rooms were small, and one of them had that slightly stale smell you sometimes get. However, they were perfectly clean and very well equipped for a budget hotel - hairdryer, tea facilities and biscuits, nice toilettries etc.

We didn't eat in the restaurant, tho the menu looked reasonable value. Neither did we have the breakfast buffet, on offer at 8euro per person. We checked out at 6.30am without problem.
