We had some difficulty getting to the hotel because of the one way streets. But once we got there, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and clean. Bathroom with shower and tub was new.. TV was VERY small but not of importance to us as we came to visit the historic area. And this location is perfect!

We liked:
- Location: It is just a few minutes walk from city center.

We disliked:

- Mouldy, dirty bathroom. I have never seen such a filthy bathroom, ever! It looked like it had never been cleaned. We refused to shower in there.

- Bed: uncomfortable, dirty sheets, itchy cover

- Noisy: We had the room just next to the entrance of the hotel. WOW! Each time some one entered the hotel, we were standing in our beds. Then, around 3 am someone started to clean (or whatever he was occupied with) in the hall. Why? I don't know?!?

- Unfriendly staff. They pretend not to speak English so that they do not have to deal with guests. I overheard a receptionist talking to someone on the phone quite fluently in English. But when we went up to her to complain about the room, she pretended not to speak English.

I would never ever return. I can not understand how they have a three star rating.

We only stayed one night here in May. Good location in the Old Town (we managed to pull our cases to the hotel from the train station no bother). The room itself was basic but a decent size and clean and looked onto a nice courtyard. Don't expect any fancy touches, toilettries etc. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on the quality of food at the hotel.

We would thoroughly recommend Le Petit Roi de La Lune if looking for s good French restaurant.....a short walk from the hotel on Rue Amiral Roussin. The puddings were great!

This hotel was fine for the price. Rooms are rather dark and the w/c was very small. There is also a fair bit of noise from the street, since the street cleaners of Dijon seem to work overtime. Breakfast was fine; wifi only works in the lobby. Best part was the reception staff; very friendly, helpful, sympathetic, and attentive. For a no-frills experience, this is a good bet.
