This hotel is old and beautiful with lots of history. It's located on Square Darcy and is in walking distance of everything including the train station. The staff was great and the food and room service was excellent! The rooms are bright and cozy. The bedding is great but our bed was not. Either the matress or the pillow top had been slept on so many times that it was high in the middle and rolled down on the sides. The shower only has about a 2 foot glass panel between you and the room so water gets all over the floor. The gym consisted of a bike and an arm gym, the outdated eliptical skiier actually seemed dangerous. Overall the hotel was very nice, the food was awesome and reasonably priced, dont count on a great workout, make sure your bed is even, and get some extra towels for the bathroom floor. We would stay here again. Visit the town market, dont forget your mustard, and if you love wine visit Ogre du Vin, Bertrand the owner is super!

Terrific location, great and friendly service, excellent location. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. Easy walk to most of the historical sites in old town. We would definitely stay there again.

You pay for what you get! Everything was perfectly in order, including a mini upgrade to a junior suite – very nice. We had room service, which was fine. Bed – lovely as ever, big bathroom and big room. No charge for our little dog which is always a plus! Staff very friendly and helpful. Valet car parking.

Beware though. Dijon is a construction site at the moment (new tram system) and is a nightmare to get around (GPS just doesn’t work!!). Looks like this will go on for some time.

Comfortable Sofitel hotel with the great 'mybed' experience that you expect to find at Sofitel everywhere. Charming and very friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms not so large and could do with a little freshening up. But overall a very nice stay. The restaurant is very good. Good classic French food with good wines and excellent service. Perhaps they could modernize a little bit though and go easier on tbe sauces.
