We spent two nights at Les Planchottes and had an excellent stay. It only has two rooms, of which ours was well appointed and was 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Cecille was an excellent host and happy to advise on what to do and where to go in Beaune (which is a wonderful town and she was rightly proud to be a resident). Us Brits would catagorise this as a boutique Bed and Breakfast and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Cecile's guest house. She is very friendly and extremely helpful. We had the room on the first floor, which was very large and immaculately clean with lovely views over the large garden, so peaceful and quiet. Cecile's breakfasts are delicious. Lots of good breads and pastries, wonderful fresh fruit salad, yogurts, selection of cheeses and more. Five minutes walk to the old town where there is plenty to see and do. We loved Beaune, if we return we will definitely stay at "Les Planchottes".

We spent 4 happy nights in this delightful B and B with Cecile caring for all our needs. The rooms and garden were delightful; we had use of lounging chairs in the garden, breakfast on the terrace or in the cosy dining room, home made jams and a gourmet choice of breads and croissants with breakfast and all our questions answered in perfect English. The room with the mezzanine was perfect, with a spacious and beautifully fitted out bathroom, sky lights and an air conditioner if needed. We had local caramels placed on our pillows each night and the room was cleaned every day. Cecile made phone calls to book restaurants and wine tasting for us, and told us about the tiny roads to take in our drive around the vineyards. The booking process was straightforward, and unlike a previous review, we made sure we had a reply to our confirmation email before turning up expecting a room! We highly recommend this accommodation; the town of Beaune is lovely, with interesting shops, good restaurants, a Saturday market, lots of wine cellars and of course, the famous Hospice.

Cecile was a charming hostess, very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as maps and advice. Location is conveniently within walking distance of old town. The private garage was ideal for parking our car. Breakfast included delicious home made fresh fruit salad and preserves. Mezzanine level of bedroom is a nice area for working, but wi-fi signal strength was weak in our bedroom on the top floor, but quite adequate on lower floors. Would definitely stay again though.
