My husband and I stayed at the Belle Epoque this November for our anniversary. The location is great. It was within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. Our only complaint was the bed was too firm. Perhaps, the Europeans prefer firmer beds (we have experienced this in other European countries as well). The breakfast was modest, although a bit over-priced. The bathroom was quite large for European standards and it had a great towel warmer, which was greatly appreciated.

We booked two rooms for a one night stay in Beaune. I was concerned that the hotel was on a busy street but I did not need to. Both rooms were on the inside courtyard, it was very quiet. Friendly service, clean and spacious rooms (especially the new ones) and close proximity to the center of town make this hotel a grea deal....price per room was very reasonable.
The breakfast was simple. This was a very good find!

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Belle Epoque. Located on the edge of town,It was the perfect base for 2 days of touring the countryside, and a third day for sight-seeing in Beaune. In less than 5 minutes, you can be in your car heading for chateaus and vineyards, or, after an easy walk, you can visit the town center for coffee, the weekly market, the sights. The fee for safe, convenient parking within the hotel courtyard was very reasonable. Our room was spacious, and also handicapped accessible, with separate tub, shower. The staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Our corner room, though at the foot of the stairs to the second floor, was quiet at all hours. Overall, Hotel Belle Epoque is a great value!

Loved this hotel. Great management, extremely helpful with travel details and restaurants. Large room, 31, equipped for handicapped, has huge walk-in shower and separate tub. 2 floors. New building. Great parking worth the extra price because there is no need to drive into Beaune. Best breakfast and most reasonable, with lots of coffee and the best croissants, even eggs served to your liking. Easy access to main highway, one block to city gate on the side where the tourist bureau is. The Patriarche winery is worth the 10 euro visit---taste as much as you like after you wander through the underground caves. Take the little tour train for 6 euro to get oriented. The walk across the whole town is 20-25 minutes. Can't think of a downside. Would go back and stay there again.
