We stayed here for one night in May 2010. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to room 005 in the historic part of the hotel which was huge! The traditional decor and antique furniture may not suit everyones taste and the room was a little on the dark-side, but it was very comfortable and charming. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. A great hotel at an extremely reasonable price in Beaune.

The reception at the hotel was friendly. Room small and bathroom need upgrading (as most french 3 star hotels). Breakfast way too expansive and not up to standard for the price requested. Overall an OK three star for the price.

Spent one night at this hotel as we were passing through Beaune. We've stayed here before and found the place both clean and comfortable. Very helpful and pleasant staff on the front desk. Excellent breakfast and secure underground parking (not always easy to find on a first visit!). All in all a nice place to stay. The only slight downer is that they don't do evening meals which means having to walk a short distance into the town where there are plenty of really good places to eat. For those who don't know Beaune it is a really lovely town and well worth a visit.

Since booking 3 rooms in April 2009 and paying $1,340.00 AUS up front for a stay in OCTOBER 2009, we have had not satisfaction from either the Henry 11 or Best Western corporate offices for our funds to be returned minus cancellation fees.
I was a prior guest at this property in 2005 and also at other Best Western properties in PARIS, CANNES, NICE AND BEAUNE. I am a Gold Crown Club member since 2004. Our group were forced to cancel our reservation in JUNE 2009, 4 MONTHS IN ADVANCE of our stay, due to one of our group becoming hospitalized. We were told that this payment was NON REFUNDABLE!!!! We also cancelled airline tickets - and paid a $200 cancellation fee on a $2,000 airfare from Brisbane, Australia to Paris - which we expected. We did not however expect to be ripped off by the Henry 11. They resold our rooms and kept our $1,340.00 AUS. This hotel does not honor the normal cancellation policy offered by the rest of the world hotels and airlines. In my over 40 years of travel all over the world, has a property or airline NOT REFUNDED the full amount minus a cancellation fee. Travelers BEWARE!
