The rating of the hotel seemed promising, but the actual stay was very disappointing. When arriving, the hotel manager was chatting with one of her friends and kept us waiting for a couple of minutes. Finally, she called a friendly but inexperienced (it was her second day on the job) assistant, to help us out, resulting in the fact that we had to switch rooms. The room was very old fashioned and a lot of things did not work (such as the heating in the bath room). The dining room was nice, but the service was unfriendly and not professional at all. Finally, we had some bikes with us, and although we had mentioned this during the reservation, they did not seem to have a place for them. The assistant then assigned a little room for them, but in the morning they were moved (although we've locked them) and damaged (lights were broken, painting was scratched, brakes were damaged ...). I usually don’t write these types of reviews and I don’t mind paying for nice hotel, but this was so bad that I make an exception.
