We have just had a 2 night stay at this hotel and do not have a single bad thing to say about the place. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. They gave us a lot of help with places to visit and how to get around. The room was very clean and there was nothing more you could ask for at breakfast. Having a sea view (even though it was side on) was fantastic. The hotel is very close and well within walking distance to the town. We would reccommend this hotel and will be back.

We stayed here as part of a tour group. The hotel is clean, modern and well-furnished. Our room was at the back so we did not enjoy the ocean view, but the weather was cold and rainy with very high winds throughout our stay so we didn't miss mush. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of several really very good restaurants. I would happily stay here again.

The Mercure St Malo Front de Mer is a perfect place to stay when exploring St. Malo and the surrounding area. Located right on the ocean with great views, this hotel is a great blend of modern amenities and old world charm. The hotel is conveniently located fifteen minutes from St. Malo's train station and is a ten minute walk to the walled ramparts and old town center. The rooms are comfortable, chic, and squeaky clean. There is free WiFi, a computer for guest users in the lobby, as well as a cafe/restaurant on the premises. The staff is helpful with advice on tour plans and transportation options. A great option for business travelers.
