We had a lovely little stay at this hotel. Staying in the main building. The owners and staff were very helpful when it came to suggesting fun things to do and decent places to go, so for the price you're also getting a good city guide to St Malo :). ,

Unfortunatley, this year work demands mean I cannot stay overnight in St Malo, but the staff were still very helpful in advising me of resteraunts and the like.

Stayed here twice - once in 2009 - went for cheapest room and got what paid for but had a lovely stay. 2nd time in July 11. Paid for nicer room but found it unbearably hot and stuffy (no air con which in summer at the top of the hotel is a problem). The room had not been aired and the bedspread smelt of dog. I did point all of this out upon checkout. I was advised that I should have complained earlier but I pointed out that when you arrive in the evening with a baby in tow you just want to settle, eat and have a good sleep - not spend time in the lobby explaining strange smells and room swapping - it should have been right first time. Shame as otherwise great location and can arrange private parking. Be aware that if you stay here and get some air by keeping the window open it is NOISY !

We stayed here for three nights in September. We had stayed here also in Sept 2010
So this being our second visit I found this to be a very pleasant hotel to stay. Our rooms have been clean,spacious with a tea .coffee making tray. Hallway entry separate toilet from the bathroom.To my delight a decent size clothes cupboard. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We love the breakfast room and enjoy the breakfast there.
I had dental emergency and the lady at the front desk was so kind and did all in her power to get me a dentist. No easy task as I needed a specialist as I am having implants done and it was late in the afternoon. Thank god she diligently tracked down a dentist for me and I was able to dash over there around 6.30-7.00PM and got fixed up so that I was able to smile and eat again
we enjoyed a trip Dinan a lovely town. I enjoy visiting St.Malo and I hope in the future visit here again. I would definitely would stay at the Hotel Eliabeth.

I stayed in December just before Christmas and found the hotel to be small, quaint and comfortable. The best thing about the whole hotel is the manager there. He speaks fluent English and was able to give us great tips on the best things to do around St. Malo and exactly how to use the public transport. He also gave us great tips about special Christmas activities to do in the city and always asked us how we were enjoying our stay, could he doing anything for us etc.

Breakfast was nice but with a patisserie right outside the front door we often opted for that instead. There is a small little breakfast room underneath the lobby where we ate and they had an small selection of bread, spreads, eggs, fruits etc. Very french!

Overall, a pleasant stay but just a tiny bit too small a room for me. The manager really does go all out to help you, so thank-you!
