The hotel is in a good location, in the walled town, close to the cathedral, shops and restaurants. The staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous. On our last day there was a delay with our order for tea to our room and the receptionist was very apologetic and said it would be free of charge.
The hotel restaurant had excellent food and service. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented and the waiters very helpful and friendly. An English version of the menu would be helpful.
The breakfast was adequate but nothing to look forward to - even the coffee was disappointing.
We felt the decor of the hotel let it down. There was a great deal of dark blue and the whole impression was somewhat oppressive, although the room was a fair size and very clean. The restaurant and breakfast area could have done with a fresh lick of paint and the whole of the decor was rather tired. This was unfortunate because it lets down the overall impression of the hotel.
