The hotel needs a paint job, the bed lines have cigarette burn holes in them and the rooms are beige in every way. The daytime staff is friendly and helpful but the night worker runs the place like a nunnery, giving the group I was with a passive aggressive treatment of making us wait to buzz us into the hotel because we were out too late (for his tastes). His treatment was rude, disrespectful and offensive.
The location of the hotel is fine but really, you should find somewhere better to stay. Rennes is a beautiful town.
