Nice compact hotel, near the train station in Rennes. Everything there seemed brand-new! The room we got was small, but comfortable, though the sofa-bed was a bit saggy. The bathroom was tiny, clean, and modern, with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was a treat, with a nifty machine that produced fresh-squeezed orange-juice. The breakfast area was also nicely appointed, with colourful dishes and a tiny but charming fenced-in outdoor zone.
The staff was friendly, and handed out colouring books and games to the kids. There is also a game console near the lobby.
There is no parking, but you can park at the train station nearby. The hotel is close to several nice restaurants (we liked le cafe noir) and within walking distance to the historical center of Rennes.
We had booked and paid ahead of time, and got a great deal.
