“Very good hotel for families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2010

Nice compact hotel, near the train station in Rennes. Everything there seemed brand-new! The room we got was small, but comfortable, though the sofa-bed was a bit saggy. The bathroom was tiny, clean, and modern, with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was a treat, with a nifty machine that produced fresh-squeezed orange-juice. The breakfast area was also nicely appointed, with colourful dishes and a tiny but charming fenced-in outdoor zone.
The staff was friendly, and handed out colouring books and games to the kids. There is also a game console near the lobby.
There is no parking, but you can park at the train station nearby. The hotel is close to several nice restaurants (we liked le cafe noir) and within walking distance to the historical center of Rennes.
We had booked and paid ahead of time, and got a great deal.

“clean, functional and well positioned”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2010

This hotel was better than we expected. The rooms were very clean and functional and while not large were ok. The location is good being opposite the railway station and close to the hire car drop off and collection point.
We only spend one night as we had dropped off a hire car and were catching the train to Paris the next day but the hotel met our needs.

“BRILLIANT LOCATION, GORGEOUS HOTEL, SHOULD BE 4 STAR”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

there was 19 of us that booked into this hotel. All i can say is it was brilliant, quite compact but gorgeously clean. The staff were lovely. Right opposite the train station was a bonus. The place is buzzing, would definately go back.

“very compact, but convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2010

We stayed there for only 1 night and had chosen this hotel because of its location across from the train(TGV) station.

Location: literally right across the street from the hotel. very convenient. gave us more time in the morning before catching the train back to Paris. Several restaurants and cafes were in walking distance. Crepe at the creperie near the hotel was good. Ethnic foods are available like Japanese(a bit costly) or go for kebab for budget eating(7-8 euros). Small convenient shops selling packaged foods and fruits are also in the area. It's much smaller than a regular 7-11 in the U.S. so don't expect much.

Atmosphere: room was very compact. the spaces on both sides of the bed were just enough for you stand but can't walk pass each other. The glass bathroom walls made the room look more open. The spa shower was a treat with different adjustments. A small desk attached to the wall was sufficient for a laptop. Light green and white colors created welcoming atmosphere. Overall, like the compactness but functional of it.

Amenities: complementary teas and coffees. Small bar to hangout. Breakfast was typical French styles, mostly baguettes and breads. Espresso and coffee maker was available. Cereals with milk. Freshly squeezed orange juice was made with a machine on spot. I recalled having seen only 1 or none of meat source, so mostly carb oriented breakfast.

Services: staff was overall helpful. We got help with directions on how to get from Rennes to our destination an hour away. We were told they didn't have a printer for us to print directions out. But our problem was that we didn't even have directions yet because our GPS system somehow was not functioning. The receptionist said she couldn't look up for directions for us because the computer system was not connected to the internet or it was just for internal system. There was a computer with internet across from the front desk, but it was set up to not allow internet browsing. Later, she fiddled with her computer some more and said she could print out the directions for us. And so she did, and it was all in French, unfortunately. However, she was willing to take time to look it up eventually.

“A great accidental find.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2010

Taking a chance I arrived late in Rennes on the train from Bairritz and walking out of the Gare (Railway Station), there it was "All Seasons" clean and bright right across from the station....generous very nice rooms with innovative glass shower/toilet stalls and a great breakfast topped it off. The room was 65 Euro for the night with an amazing breakfast choice. The next day was Sunday and my goal was famous Mon St Michel about an hour drive away....but beware you cannot innitiate a rental car hire on a Sunday in France..go figure....however I found out that the bus I was directed to was by FAR the best deal as had I got a car the parking is horrendous for this popular attraction....take the bus from Rennes and enjoy your day...it drop and picks you up from the "door" of Mon St Michel.
