Great Location, close to beach so easy to travel too and from with children for loo's etc. Decor is a bit tired but staff are great and the resturant is exceptional, and for Dinard not too expensive.
Stayed several times and would go again

We spent two nights in the Hotel de la Plage whilst in Brittany and although it's not the best hotel in town it is very well placed and has an amazing view over the beach; which we really enjoyed over breakfast on the terrace. The service is very pleasant and friendly, just the decor could benefit from an update.
We stayed at the Hotel de la Plage for 5 nights. We requested a room with a terrace overlooking the sea, what a view! The room itself was quite small but very adequate with plenty of hanging space and drawers. It was immaculate with a very comfortable double bed and clean crisp white duvet cover and pillow cases. The bathroom was again adequate with small bath and over the bath shower, but not really possible to have a proper shower. We didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on that but the dining/terrace area looked very nice. The location was the real winner though, one minute from the beautiful beach, promenade and all amenities, fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ask for a terrace with sea view at this family-run hotel in the centre of Dinard, close to the beach in the middle of town. Breakfast inside or out, overlooking the sea and bay. Excellent and very good-value for its prime location
We booked direct with this small family-run hotel virtually on the beach in Dinard about three weeks before departure. Mme Gauvin and her staff are friendly and efficient and there is a lovely terrace overlooking the beach where we breakfasted when the sun shone, despite warnings about marauding seagulls.
The Hotel de la Plage has a Logis de France designation and is spotlessly clean. The rooms aren't especially big but are nicely decorated in what they describe as the "Louis Phillipe" style, which looks vaguely late 19th century. One of ours had an oblique view over the beach. There is no restaurant. but Dinard is packed with them so that was no problem. (We tried the Pizzeria which is joined to the hotel by an adjoining door and was probably originally part of the hotel but , though the Pizzas are fine, the service was absolutely awful.)
After we settled up on the last evening, we realised that we had been charged more than the original quote and feared the worst. However, when we raised the issue by email with Mme Gauvin, she immediately acknowledged the error and sent a cash refund by express mail along with her apologies.
Hotel de la Plage isn't grand luxury but it is a very attractive well-run three star hotel that we would be happy to recommend to anyone.
