Good value budget room with 3 min walk to central Dinard, 5 mins to the beach. Clean but compact bedroom, bathroom good size. The road is quite busy so noise from traffic when the window is open which it was as the room was quite hot. Plenty of free street parking outside the hotel. Staircase steep up to the top floor which was fine for us, but might not suit older guests?

I chose this hotel on the strength of TA reviews and was not disappointed. It is a decent 2 star hotel - nothing luxurious and basic furnishings but comfortable, well located ( and it is not on a steep incline as one reviewer has put - more of a gentle incline) with good restaurants only a two minute walk away ( and ,yes, the Abri des Flots is definitely the place to eat - not cheap but good value for the quality of food , service etc). There is car parking on the streets around and I had no difficulty in finding a place nearby. The room I was originally given was at the front and it is on a road which has some traffic though the double glazing cuts out most of the noise, however as I am a very light sleeper I paid an extra 5 euros a night for a room at the back which was very quiet. The hotel underwent renovation 2 years ago and the bathrooms are new with a modern sink unit and a decent shower. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good for the 6 euros 80 charged ( a buffet with cereals, croissants, boiled eggs, meats, fruit etc). The staff are very friendly and helpful, free wifi, and a guest lounge with reading material - it all adds up to a hotel I would not hesitate to recommend . The only drawback for anyone with a disability might be the absence of a lift as there are no ground floor rooms.

Great stay. Wonderful hoteliers who gave excellent advice on walks, trips, etc. Great breakfast, complete with home made croissants and home made jams. The room is small, but who wants to be inside anyway? The free wireless was a nice perk. We loved our stay here and would strongly recommend it especially for families and those NOT in need of the amenities of larger hotels (i.e., refrigerators in rooms, lots of TV channels, space to work, etc.)

Excellent little hotel in a fab location. Rooms are basic but are very clean and good value for money. You get free wifi which is good. Go to the spar down the road and get some drink/food in as there are no coffee/tea facilities in the rooms.
Dinard is a very quiet town, with pretty beaches, and a lovely coastline. If you want energetic this place is not for you, but if you want a nice break then come here.
Would recommend Chez Jean Jean for good food, and also Le Cafe Rouge.
