The Hotel des Sables is very clean, very simple, has good beds and showers, very friendly and attentive staff, but cannot be called luxurious. The breakfast is continental and no other meals are served, although coffee and tea are available at all times. It is a short walk from a lovely beach and several bars and cafes, but is a full 15 minutes walk from the centre of town.
For a group of us with vintage cars, the best feature was a very large and private grass parking area hidden behind the hotel. There are a few garden tables and chairs in a sunny spot.
The best rooms are on the top floor, although there is no lift. Sound proofing is not great, so if you have a noisy neighbour in a room above, you could be disturbed.
It is not expensive, and we would definitely stay again.
It has its own web site : [--].
