Me and my boyfriend (we are both 23) stayed here recently for 5 days as we got a last min flight with ryanair for 2 pounds! It was a spontaneous trip and we aimed to book it as quick and cheap as poss and so we found the Hotel Des Sables!
We paid 290 euros for our stay which was an absolute bargain given the exchange rate at the moment, we didn't have breakfast but found we could pick up croissants etc from the local shop very cheaply. (the brekkie was a little over priced for us brits!)
Area was nice, close to the beach and some restaurants, we couldnt get the hang of their opening times though they seemed to be a bit sporadic and were often closed for a mid day snacks! Walk into the main centre is about ten mins of flat road, pretty easy and there is another beach and promenade up there.
Area is not very english speaking so try and bring a phrase book, most menus and staff are not english and it is difficult to communicate!
Otherwise hotel was very friendly, casual and not uptight, rooms were a little loud ( we had a snorer next door) and there are some frisky cats outside. No air con, so a bit warm at night. There is tv but only in french.
Over all a great stay, very good value for money.
