Rooms much larger than most in France, although not modern in decor, but does that really matter? Loaned us their clothes airer so our laundry could be dried. Yummy breakfasts (best croissants we had in France!), spoke both French and English and have a lovely rescue dog. Very close to the city but not in the city so there was none of that annoying city noise. Don't let its proximity to a major highway be a deterrent - we barely heard any vehicle noise.

“Ok for an en route stopover”
The room was fine and the breakfast was good too. The lady owner was very friendly. We drove into town for an evening meal and getting back could have been a problem as our sat nav nearly took us over the top of the hotel on the big road, but we managed to exit on a slip road near it just in time. The best approach is to come from Dinan with the town behind you, be ready to look for the sign as soon as you drive under the flyover and it is up a longish lane on your left. Parking near the hotel was very convenient. It was not a long drive into town, which was well worth a visit. The quayside was particularly pretty.
