The facade of the hotel doesn't do it justice. On first glance this quaint hotel looks like a cheaper grade hotel that caters to bus loads of tourists. However, upon entering its main doors, my partner and I were greeted by a warm and attentive receptionist who was helpful in providing information and recommendations for food and attractions.
Rooms were on the small side, but again most hotels in France or even Europe are. This was compensated by a plush double bed, one of the best beds I've slept in during my trip. The heaters worked well and the double glazed windows kept out the noise from the main street below.
If you are coming by train and carrying heaps of luggage or a huge backpack, this is definitely a star hotel as the train station is right next door. Close to it are restaurants, bars, pharmacies and most importantly the tourist information centre.
Streetside parking right infront of the hotel is free from 1800hrs till 0900 the next day and if you can't get a spot outside the hotel, there is a large public carpark right across the the street.
Overall a pleasant stay!
