Charming hotel in the charming city.Room was big enough,(we were 3, with our son of 5 years old).Only NO-no showercourtain in the bathroom, than the flloor and beauty products-all wet.
The choice of the breakfast buffet could be a bit better.
Very friendly staff.We shall be back once.Sure!

The reviews I have seen on this page don't do justice at all to this hotel. We stayed there for for nights at Ascension and I think they must have refurbished it since the last reviewer stayed - it is nothing like these pictures now. The rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished and there is a choice of eating in the restaurant or the bar, which has a terrace. Our only regret was that the restaurant was closed on Saturday nights. I would certainly stay here again. it is excellent value for money and deserves more than its two stars.

I stayed with my family (my wife and three children 4, 8, and 11-yo) at this hotel for one night. Overall, we were quite happy. The room was a bit small (and it was a quadruple room!) but that's typical in Europe (esp. France) anyway!
The room was very clean, and the neighburhood very quiet and beautiful : lots of trees, a church, little streets, very "European". The staff were friendly and helpful. I can't recall if they had a restaurant at the premise but even if they didn't, it wouldn't matter as there are lots of them in the vicinity.
Also, I should point out that Vichy is a little gem in France: a path less taken by the majority of the tourists!
I certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the area.
ps We paid 80.98 Euros for the quadruple room for the one night stay: again, quite a bargain in Europe!
