Comfortable hotel - not a patch on the Sofitel though but you get what you pay for.
Room was spotlessly clean. Staff rather lackadaisical and guests must have some knowledge of French to get by in the city and indeed the hotel. Shame that the pool area was closed on a very hot Sunday when a relaxing afternoon in the Sun would have been ideal relaxation

We liked this hotel. Not 5 star but good value. We had a spacious room with a balcony looking out over the pool. There is limited parking outside the hotel but I found a place easily about 100 yards away. There are two elevators - one of which looks original 1920's or 30's. The breakfast buffet next morning was very good indeed - especially for a French hotel where breakfasts tend to be pretty spartan. The Brasserie du Casino across the street is really excellent, by the way!

It is a large impresive looking hotel with an elegant appearance in the public areas. It has a good looking swimming pool although we did not use it The receptionist was very helpful and our room was spacious and comfortable with good facilities although no safe. We had a drink in the bar and were well served. Breakfast was excellent. The receptionist again helped us in the morning with directions. The only slight snag is that the hotel parking is rather limited ahough the hotel may have other options (we managed to get in!). The hotel is also well situated in Vichy near lots of eating places.

The Aletti Palace is a great hotel. Beautiful decorations and lots of history. You can literally feel the tradition. Its the best situated hotle in Vichy, accross the Casino and the Opera..nice
