very small and very cheap. the staff (one man that seems to have multiple jobs) was very nice and spoke several languages. my room was very small and very basic, but everything was clean and OK. breakfast was tiny but there was plenty of coffee / tea. the "restaurant" / (breakfast room in fact - i was told they do not have a licence to serve other food than breakfast) looks very french and quite charming. location is (almost) central, very near to the rail station. if you are on a tight budget and go on a short trip to clermont-ferrand, you will not make a mistake to choose this place as it is clean and central, however, i d not think the rooms are inciting for anything more than to sleep and have a shower
