The hotel is cheap, and that is just about all I can say in its favor. The room was tiny for one person, let alone for two. The carpet and bedspread were stained. The wardrobe (if you can call it that) was one by one foot, and to be shared with the plumbing and the extra blanket, and could contain just three coat hangers. The cleaning lady (I wouldn't call it room service) threw away one of my things left in there (but retrieved it from the trash when I complained). The bathroom was tiny and dark, and it took a good five minutes to get some tepidish water from the faucet -- the shower yielded no more than a weak drizzle. The third-floor room was to be reached through a maze of staircases and offered a sordid view on an inside courtyard. Both the window and the (metallic) shutters were of the kind that take an energetic push before they can open or close. Soundproofing : zero. Breakfast : one croissant, and a piece of baguette. Nada mas. Impossible to get a cup of tea in the afternoon, and even less a meal at night. Guests are referred to a smoky bar next door or a Moroccan restaurant opposite the hotel.
