do you know any hotel closed in the middle of the day in pick season?
answer: floride ii in clermont.
we arrive on monday - a date we reserved 5 months before. this is what was written in our resevation:
: "Opening hours: - From 07:00 to 22:30 during the week - From 07:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays and Sundays If you plan to arrive outside the opening hours, please contact the hotel in order to obtain the access code. From 21 December 2009 to 03 January 2010 inclusive, the hotel will be open from 07:00 to 12:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00."

but on the door of the hote there was a surprising note : "from 12 july closed from 14:00-17:00"

it was ver hot. we hardly found the hotel (the site's instructions were not accurate at all)
we went away to another hotel but floride charged us against all agreement. we were there !!!! they were absent !!!

their answer to us was a great lie : "there was a note". they forgot to tell the note was on the door of the hotel..... how could we know in advance .?? only when i sent my reservation they understood their lie was covered. then they changed it in the site.

very frustrating ! annoying ! a big shame !!

Pleasant, though fairly modern, hotel; reasonable rates; elevator; close to the central park (beautiful) and several local stores. A little far from historic city center, but walkable and city has good public transportation. A little difficult to drive to because of one way streets, etc., but worth it. Staff very pleasant and helpful, but limited English (at least in 2001), but that made it even more fun!
