En route from Edinburgh to Spain by car needed a stop-off in France, hopefully near the motorway. Chose this hotel due to its locality, just off the motorway and easy to see. Very modern, clean, welcoming, with good bedrooms and layout. Some reviews suggested the ensuites were rather small - well they were I suppose but no smaller than Ferry cabin facilities and evenso were very clean, and nice. Bed very comfortable with a sweetie on the pillow and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Chose to eat at the del Arte Italian restaurant very nearby and no doubt the Euro exchange rate did not help with veal in breadcrumbs and spaghetti and sauce with a pint and a half of lager costing 38 euros. A bit steep we thought but very nice and sitting outside watching the moon made it all the more enjoyable. Hotel advertising a rate of 81E for the night and we had booked for 61E so delighted. Will stay again and recommend you do too!

We stopped at this hotel on our way south to the med. We had a family room that was equiped to see you through the night with a double and two full singles for the children. It has easy access from the A75 but the room was tight for space. Although, it is close to the airport and the A75, it wasn't noisey and we had a good night sleep. The decor is starting to look tired, but it redeeming feature is the staff. They are really friendly and helpfull.
The hotel has a restaurant but it was a little pricey. Just around the corner is a Pizza restaurant, which is reasonable and has great food. The hotel serves breakfast at a cost but at €9, is a little pricey for cereal, a roll and some cold meat.
The hotel was clean to a fasion but could do with a little futher attention in places. As a stop over hotel, it was sufficient for a night.

Not very impressed, found it shabby and dingy. Aircon not working (room was far to hot at night to sleep well) and the bathroom (towells including) was smelly. And this is coming from someone who is used to staying in lowkey hotels, but there is only so much you can put up with. No reception after 10.30 pm and hallways smelling of bad food (fish gone off) in the evening didn't make things better. So next time we travel in that area we'll be looking for a different place to stay.

We like Kyriads in general but this was very poor and certainly not good value at €78.
The evening recepionist was very 'snappy', probably because she was running a busy hotel on her own. However her refusal to provide an extra pillow for my wife came as a bit of a surprise. Fortunately my wife speaks French and after a 'barny' in the reception, much to the amusement of other guests who were sympathetic to our request, she reluctantly left the desk and returned with a pillow.
The room was freshly decorated with a new carpet, but very small, i.e. a single with an extra bed shoved in. The bathroom was designed by 'Boeing'!
Dinner selection was bought in 'chilled' factory food but adequate. At breakfast, the buffet was sufficient but there was no tray-run to rest your tray while helping yourself!
The dinning area was pre-set for dinner, cordoned off and a side room with 10 tables was in use by about 40+ guests. Also with the dinning area cordoned off, access to and from the reception was via the breakfast buffet. Accidents I guess are a daily occurance!
