People at the hotel were very accommodating and went out of their way to please. The hotel had some refurbishing taking place while we were there, but it did not deter from the property. Rooms were small as is the custom in Europe, but it was nicely equipped and decorated. The menu selection over the weekend is very limited, sort like a lunch menu. Food was nicely prepared and was very good. Excellent selection of wines and modest prices.

Good hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms. The rate is fair particularly with the promotion for two-night stay. The only problem is the location which is far from down town. The only bus line running close-by has a bus only once every hour starting from 8:00 am with the last at 8:00pm. If you have your own car this is a good place in Pau.
