We stayed for three nights at this hotel in a standard twin room. The room was nice if a bit basic, but very clean and perfectly acceptable for a three star. The hotel is ideally situated for Les Eyzies and has beautiful gardens and pool area. The staff were very friendly and polite.
However, we took issue with the prices of the food and drink. Don't get me wrong, the food was incredible, but the price of the wine was astronomical. The bar too was way overpriced (we paid about 9 EUR for a shot). We felt as if we were in a three star room in a five star hotel and felt slightly resentful of the high prices.
Nevertheless, we'd recommend the hotel. We'd stay there again, but factor in the restaurant expense next time so it's not so much of a shock when we arrive. Definitely a place to experience!
