A great location for us and our two boys aged four and two. Nothing amazing about the apartment but plenty big enough, spotlessly clean and had a really nice balcony. There seems to be a huge difference in what people are paying - we paid 225 EURO per night room only.

We paid 85euros per night which is a pretty competitive rate in Biarritz. The apartment was very clean and, as stated in the other reviews, very centrally located. However there is zero atmosphere and the decor is fairly hideous. The hotel/apartments are crying out for a serious face lift.

If you are a business man on a work trip then this would be the place for you to stay. If you are looking for a romantic weekend with some French charm about the hotel, then this is not the place for you.

The staff were warm and polite, and helpful. You could definitely do worse than a nights stay in Residence Biarritz Ocean (not on the ocean though)

We drove through France and thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice apartment in Biarritz. This wasn't quite it unfortunately. The rooms were tired. The bathroom was underwhelming. A public footpath runs along the back of the hotel so not very private either. And if you've driven a long way and expect to park think again. The hotel has a very small internal car park that seems to be permenantley full. Even if it was available we had a camper van and it was too tall to get inside. Had to park up a hill and walk down. All rather boring really.

We spent one night here on the way to another location. Very clean apartment, well-equipped, and close to beach and shops of Biarritz. Breakfast good and tasty. But the flat was tiny, and the four of us were falling over each other! Couldn't have stayed there for a full holiday. Receptionists were lovely but vague. They forgot to tell us that the reception is only open a few hours a day and that we needed a code to get in through the front door when they weren't there. We ended up locked out after dinner, and only got in by shouting up to a couple staying there who were having drinks on their balcony! If the weather had been bad we'd have been stuck outside, in Biarritz at night, with two small and tired children!
