This hotel needs upgrading! The room we had was smelly with a very stained carpet and stains on the chairs. Considering the price it is not good quality for the money.
The staff were friendly and breakfast was good and plentiful. There is free wi-fi and parking on site. There is a pool area which is nice. Long way from town but during the week there is a bus service.

we stumbled across this hotel, stayed for 2 nights. only about ten mins walk from biarritz main centre.
staff were very friendly and helpful,hotel itself was very clean and there always seemed to be someone cleaning no matter what time of day or night. the rooms were a little dated but pleanty of space.
The pool area was good, no problem gfetting sun loungers.,
only negative thing was breakfast was 20 euro which we did nt avail of

The good:
- large room (classic) with high ceilings
- grand building and 'old' style interior
- ample free parking with valet service
- free wifi internet
- quiet and effective air conditioning
The bad:
- classic room somewhat dated feel, parts in need of refreshing / refurbishment
- bathroom cleanliness not excellent
- swimming pool with limited space, shallow (deepest part 150cm) and lukewarm
- breakfast buffet at EUR 20 per person is overpriced

Had no booking and found hotel a little by accident but once there really liked it. Very helpful reception and all of the staff were great. Were very accommodating of our 2 year old. Position is a little out of town (which I liked) but not too far that you can't walk. The hill back to hotel is not steep but gradual and long..it can be a little tiring especially with a pram.
Interior of the hotel is very, very nice but the rooms not as nice but still good. Comfortable bed, very clean, good service and the best dinner meal we had in all of France...and we ate a lot!
Definately recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
