What a stunning Hotel! Beautifully designed with flair and imagination in its day ... but tiny details let it down to what it could be and perhaps it's now time for a little TLC. The central atrium is simply amazing and a beautiful place to eat or relax. The location was brilliant to walk and explore Biarritz and to watch the Atlantic waves and setting sun. It would be a most memorable place to return another day and we would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout.

large rooms with high ceilings - 'old' style. peculiar lobby and interior - i would have thought more french american than french. free parking - free wifi - quiet and worthwhile aircon and nice quiet rooms overlooking the golf course. had great sleep. Stayed for a week. The place is dated though. We got a E100 a night rate by booking in advance which is really good for the hotel and proxiity to town and beach. it is a great town to visit, you can easily walk there and back in the evenings even if there is a bit of a hill. any you get great sunsets. the outside pool has comfy loungers and is sheltered from the wind which as you will find out it important. the place is in need of refurbishment on the whole but that said there were people staying who were driving rolls royce phantoms when we were there so maybe its justy the E100 a night rooms! bathroom fine and basic. pool not large. wouldnt bring a young family here given pool size. for couples and adults definitely. didnt get any treatments, didnt play golf, just ate, wandered, and sunned ourselves. didnt get breakfast or food in the hotel - always went into town or to a local pattisserie. sometimes brought food back and put in the fridge in the room. a massive plus! love biarritz!
