The best value in town, providing they have theirs specials. Elegant,comfortable hotel with very,very friendly and help oriented staff.

My girlfriend stayed at this hotel for three nights in the middle of August which is the high season. The hotel looks new. The setting is very romantic and the customer service is very good (includes free Wifi).

The location is ideal as it is only around 5-10 minutes walk from two beaches (Cote des Basques and La Grade Plage) and just off the tourist trail. Close to the hotel you will find plenty of small places to eat where the locals go for fine food and drink. Opposite the hotel is the food market where you can buy a variety of local produce.

The only strange thing was that the shower had nothing to protect the rest of the bathroom getting wet. It was stylish and cool but a bit impractical.

I stayed in Hotel de Silhouette in July 2011, just after it was open. My room smell new, maybe I was the first one to stay there. The place is fantastic. Great modern design rooms, very warm and fresh, great choice of colors even though a bit bright. I had room number 1 at the first floor, right next to the restaurant, but I did not hear any noise. Had lunch there twice, the Salad Gourmand was excellent. Location is great, in the middle of everything but quiet and the green areas in front of the premises was amazing. All in all, this is a really good place, and it will be discovered soon. Price versus quality was great, although I got a very good last minute deal, so I can't judge for the standard room price. The staff was very well trained and very friendly, their English was excellent. I know for sure when I go back to Biarritz, this will be the first place to check for availability. I can't think of any down sides, besides that it's obviously brand new and there were some painters finishing up the outside walls. But I would say, that was a very minor detail.
