Hotel is rated four stars, which is one reason we choose this hotel. It is definitely not four star, how it can be graded so high is beyond us. Restaurant was pretty good but no other features got anywhere near worth mentioning. Breakfast was over priced, rooms poorly equipped, lobby dark and dingy!

We stayed two nights at the Grand Tonic Hotel. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. Bathroom amenities were more than adequate and the toilet was in a separate room. We were able to take advantage of the free parking behind the hotel. The location is very convenient for the beach and the promenade. The continental breakfast was expensive - 8 euros pp for bottled juice, coffee and a croissant. The second morning we walked two blocks along and had a much better breakfast at Les Colonnes for half the price. Apart from the high prices charged for food and drink at the hotel, we enjoyed our stay there.

I nearly was asked to leave for simply wanting to compliment the retaurant concierge, and advise of broken room fittings and spar, I waited patiently and was ignored for hours. French banking restrictions also caused many problems. Proffessionalism begins with problem resolution, they do not understand the Concept.
