The hotel is located in the heart of the pedestrianized downtown area, and is an easy tram ride from the main train station. It might be a bit difficult to find/park if you're driving, but i arrived by train so it wasn't an issue. The hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. My only real issue was that the rooms aren't very soundproof, so when my neighbor left early in the morning I could hear everything. Otherwise, a great little hotel.

As per most reviewers, this hotel was a gem to find. Owner was a real help emailing me all the paperwork I needed for sorting out a shengen visa.

Some folk say they had an aircon, but i guess this is not standard. Leaving the windows open on a warm evening is nice but can get noisy with latenight movement of people and vehicles.

My room had a very retro colour scheme -with loads of primary colours.

Location is great! Cant be better for a weekend in the city of Bordeaux. No elevator, small stair. I stayed in the large room at third floor at it was a large room with a strange decoration some kind of africa theme. Not to my liking maybe but fresh and nice. Comfortable bed, fresh bathroom, seperate toilet, small desk. Great. Only complaint is lack of elevator..

Great location right in the heart of Bordeaux near the Theatre. We booked a room with a bath which also had a seperate toilet. The room was roomy enough, exactly what I would expect from a 2 Star hotel. Hotel has Cable TV and Wireless internet which was a bonus. The negatives are (1) the noise from the street below - on a hot night you would need to leave the window open and (2) they dont have parking but there are plenty of undercover 24/7 parking stations nearby.
