Family rooms are tiny with not even room to site a suitcase, I had to move the TV. The ladder to the mezzanine (kids room) is nothing short of dangerous, dangerous for the kids climbing it and adults walking into it.

The restaurant was worse. The surly waiter almost threw our food at us and I nearly regretted complaining about burnt Fries. Sure enough, they were replaced (by nearly burnt fries) and no apology, just a look of disgust at me questioning the wonderful cuisine.

B&B is a better value for this grade of 'hotel'. At 112 Euros for a family room, this is well over priced and 9 E for breakfast in addition, it is truly awful.

I have stayed in Kyriad hotels before so this appears to be a one off, but I suggest you avoid all costs.

We stayed there as a base for a wedding in Bordeaux. It is near the airport but it was tricky to find in the hire car. Make sure you get directions. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed so the staff made us a fantastic buffet and even replaced a whole meal when I accidently broke a glass. Next day we had breakfast in the room which was also good and the large family room worked fine.

Spent 6 nights here while attending a conference at the Palais de Congres, a 5 minute walk away.

The room was spartan. The double bed took up most of the room. Also was a desk, wardrobe, kettle with instant coffee. Reasonable sized bathroom/toilet, very clean.

Service is excellent; hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet plentiful, has cereals and fruit salad as well as standard French fare. Restaurant was of high standard and reasonable price. Free WiFi available.

Location excellent for proximity to conference centre but not good with respect to the city centre, although the centre is easily reached by a short bus trip followed by a tram ride.

We travelled Europe, and we selct some small hotels like these to stay after 10 hours driving. This kyriad is really good compared with similar ones. for example, while the other accor hotels near by were full, at the same price we got the same kind of good room + breakfast and no noise !In the Le lac you also can find lots of nice restaurants and shops.
