I agree with BenLondonBen but this hotel is ideally placed when travelling to Spain being far enough from the Bordeaux ring road not to be too noisy and is perhaps the quietest of the chain hotels in the area.

The room was in need of a refurbishment but it is evident that part of the hotel is in the process of being renovated so there is hope that it will soon be finished. Our room was standard Campanile with a comfortable bed, kettle internet but strangely no hair dryer.

The hotel is good for dog owners as there are several places which are suitable for a walk - we chose to walk infront of the exhibition centre. The choice of 2 buffets (starter and dessert) was good quality. We did not take breakfast as we feel this is rather expensive if you are not big breakfast eaters and we preferred to find a snack when we entered Spain about 2 hours away.

By booking in advance we paid less than the rack rate for the Etap down the road - so we were quite happy

Great location for a stopover to Spain. The hotel is tired, needs a lick of paint. Air conditioning units are loud and rooms are very small. Triple and double rooms are the same size, you just have the beds pushed together and a camp bed added for a triple.

Basic tv channels provided, as well as tea coffee, and a couple of soaps in the bathroom. Sheets were clean.

Location great, and a secure gated car park. If you are on a budget go for it, if not stay clear.

the hotel isn't too recent so to say but the restaurant part has been renovated. while some of the attendants are quite nice, polite, service minded, some of the managers aren't friendly at all not to say... unfriendly and almost despising. The meeting rooms, in duplex, are quite handy and luminous. about the food... not too sure, shares are quite small and the chef was rude most of the time. i did not enjoy my stay there.
