Great Location with super nice staff. Cute hotel. Our room was clean and everything worked. Bed was comfortable.

Fantastic location in the heart of Bordeaux City Centre. The room was small but clean, the spiral staircase (also had elevator) was reminiscent of a medieval castle. Our room had carpet but as I passed by a room that was being cleaned, I peeked in and noticed the set up was exactly the same as ours yet it had wooden floors! That would have been preferred by us.
One quirky thing ... arriving with a car. Car has to drive on a pedestrian walkway which has a huge concrete cylinder in the center ... GPS just couldn't understand what to do ... after phoning hotel we were told to press a button located on a box just outside the sidewalk. OK! But who would have known?! Would have appreciated seeing that tidbit on the reservation confirmation email.
Oh, and parking ... it's a bit of a walk and very very expensive!

Kitsch, rustic, quirky ........... it's been done and we've had enough of it, it just means that the place is shabby, and I'm sorry Room 17 in the annexe of this Hotel was exactly that. Tiny room, decor was pink, blue, terracotta, prune and red!!! Staircase to a mezzanine third bed meant you had to duck under the staircase to get to the bathroom as the staircase was next to the bed! Safe in the 'wardrobe' wasn't even fixed down, so pretty handy for anyone wanting to rob the room, they could just walk off with the whole thing!
Bathroom was tatty and unclean. Once we had had a shower the steam meant you could see on the window and tiles the dirt and smears. The thick layer of grey dust on the hairdryer cable was a nausiating find the next day. Someone had used spray foam to block a hole alongside the toilet, very unhygenic I would imagine! Towels were thin and tiny.
The best thing I can say about Hotel is that it is well placed and the staff pleasant.

This hotel is in a good location and rooms were good value for the price. Small but nice style. Parking next to hotel
