There is too much too say, really tired hotel needs major work, don't waste your money wouldn't even stay in this hotel if it were free.

I travel through Bordeaux regularly and this is the second time I've stayed in the Continental and it has worn quite badly since I was there six months ago.. The location is fantastic for those who just want to spend time touring or for a quick overnight but I have found better value and better comfort in other 3 and 4 star hotels in the centre and equally well located. The rooms are small and the refurbishment was done on the cheap side. Mattresses and pillows are now uncomfortable and there is mildew in the cramped bathroom. The front bedrooms are noisy but have a reasonable view, the bedrooms to the rear have no view but are quiet. For over 120€ in October I would expect better. Breakfast is basic and avoidable, if in France breakfast is better had in the local patisserie or boulangerie. My advice would be to seek better value in the same area.

We had a excellent stay at Hotel Continental. Our room was very nice and clean with good, working air-conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us a welcome drink on arrival and told us of the complementary lunchbox available for the next day. The breakfast was excellent and the location was second to none. It was very central and quiet. I would definately stay again.

Seven friends visiting Bordeaux on a weekend break chose this hotel. We all al agreed the location was ideal-right in the centre. Those on the first floot thought the rooms were a little small. Our room on the second floor was quite spacious given a two star rating. Those on the fourth floor had a balcony and a decent sized room. the accommodation was clean, the showers worked well, the beds were comfortable. Rooms were perhaps somewhat dated but spotless. Breakfast was adequate but uninspiring. Staff very friendly and helpful directing us to suitable restaurants. We would use this hotel aganin
