Booked via Expedia.fr which gave a good rate in Jan 2012 for a one night stay. The room was excellent. We booked a superior double but it was more like a mini-suite having 2 bathrooms and a lounge area. The room was quiet as it overlooked an internal small courtyard. Service was generally good and the room was clean.
The only hiccup was that upon returning to the hotel at midnight and not finding any wine or cognac in the small mini-bar in the room, we went down to reception to ask for a coffee with a cognac / glass of wine but it proved impossible to get either. They could only offer beer, vodka or whisky and we were told that we would have to walk back into the centre and find a bar that was open. Whilst the hotel is so central this was not a huge problem, it seems poor that they cannot supply these drinks in a hotel that claims to offer 24 hr service at reeption. However, I would still recommend the hotel!

This hotel is in the heart of Bordeaux, a charming town that is worth having a look around - don't just rush out to the vineyards! The hotel is what you would expect from a 3 star so there were no surprises with the decor and facilities, but it was clean and comfortable. Our room was very quiet and we slept well. We stayed in October when it was cool but were slightly alarmed with the air conditioning policy - the hotel only turn it on when the temperature reaches a certain degree (24 I think from memory). Thus while the room was fine for us in October I would be hesitant about staying here in summer as air conditioning is one of my criteria in finding a hotel room. Another plus though were the staff - very helpful.

Good and helpful staff very conveniently located for centre of Bordeaux, not noisy.Bathroom was very nice.

Just got back from a two week trip to Bordeaux with my girlfriend. While Bordeaux city center is a nightmare to drive around, this hotel is centrally located, so once you park your car, you are free to walk everywhere. When we arrived, we were given a suite and had our own bathrooms (major plus) on the first floor...

In addition to the location, the price was right as well. If you go to explore wine country, stay here!
