My family stayed in this hotel one weekend in May 2005 while visiting family in the Alsace area. We found the rooms to be very small and no-frill. We could not get adjoining rooms, so our 12-year-old daughter stayed alone in the room next to ours. They do have a larger room with a large bed and a smaller bed off to the side, but with two children (one being a baby) we still needed 2 rooms with all our luggage. The bathroom has only a shower and no tub. The front desk is not open after 10 p.m. at night. We could not call between rooms on the phone. Air circulation was to open the window. There was no elevator. We did find the hotel very clean and the staff friendly. They have a very good continental breakfast buffet for 6.50 Euros (less for children). The parking lot and main front door are locked at night and openable only with a code, providing good security. I would recommend this place for a "budget stay" as the price was excellent.
