We stayed 1 night at this hotel in August. Easy to locate as the hotel was indicated by street signs pointing in the right direction. Had to ring the desk bell a few times before someone arrived at the service desk, however attendant was nice and friendly and described how to get to town on the tram which is not far away. Room itself was shabby however and looked like it was due to be renovated - BUT for 40 euros the night, who's complaining? Bathroom is also quite small and even for me as a small person, it felt a little cramp. Wifi was free and worked well. Place was relatively quiet and we were able to sleep ok. Parking was free but make sure you ask the front desk lady for the code (one for the carpark and one for the hotel) if you're getting back late in the night otherwise you'd be locked out for the night, as there are no instructions telling you what to do if you find yourself in this situation, so be warned! Strasbourg can be quite an expensive town we found, so this was quite good value for money in this respect. I would consider staying here again.
Also, in case you're wondering where to eat for dinner - I would highly recommend "Au Pont St Martin" in the "Petite France" area - spectacular water views especially as the sun is settling (choose upstairs seating), but also excellent food - go for the menu set as it often works out cheaper than ordering individually. Out of all the other restaurants we saw, it gave the most interesting food combination on their set menu.
