Booked this hotel for two nights online for 70 Euros. Strasbourg is an inexpensive city relative to other European cities, and absolutely delightful. A visit to Strasbourg is highly recommended. It is vibrant, not expensive, steeped in history, lots to do, just great.
The hotel is very decent. Great air conditioning for hot nights, located right on a quaint square a stone's throw from the Cathedral. The room was very comfortable, beds were good, pillows small but adequate, bathroom fine, good water pressure. the TV had mostly french and german channels, but had CNN, though the reception varied at different times of day from clear to unwatchable. The hotel offers free internet through an "electricity modem" that is quite neat and works great. Just ask at the front desk.
The only downsides are the distance from the train station (Tram A or D to the main Grand rue then walk to the Cathedral and turn left), and the fact that whenever anyone flushes or showers you know it because the pipes are in the ceiling I suppose. Breakfast is extra and I didn't eat it.
All in all, the hotel is a good value, but if you research, there are other hotels of equal value in town.
But all in all,
