Located opposite of central station gives excellent connectity both to downtown (3 stop with tram) as well as long distances.
Hotel offers pretty good breakfast buffet for 10€ (for kids above 12yrs).
Rooms are very clean , bathroom is spotless, beds are firm and offer welcomed rest.
We had a double and a triple room and stayed one night.
Consider on of the downtown brasseries with a Flammkuchen or Choucrute (sour cabbage) and a glass of local wine or beer

We have been back to this hotel on numerous occasions as our daughter is at the university and the hotel is handy. It is well placed for everything especially now that the station has had a facelift. The staff are really helpful and friendly especially if you try to speak french, mine is very bad schoolboy style but they react very well to it. The rooms are large clean and airy but some of the public areas especially the stairways are dire - but who sleeps on the stairs! If you want good reliable lodgings without frills and fancies this is the place. We are due back again in February and will no doubt be going back again after that.

Because of the location right opposite the main railway station, it was easy to find the hotel when he drove into the city late at night. Very nice people in the reception, got a fine room with good beds and a spotlessly clean bathroom. No noise at night. But trying to save a few euros, we were stupid enough to park in a back street behind the hotel instead of using the nearby multistorey garage. In the dark we didn't see the sign that this was a market street and that cars would be tied away in the early morning. The people in the hotel reception understood our problem and were exceedingly helpful in phoning around to find out where our car had been impounded and where we would have to go first (quite another place) to fight our way through the French police bureaucracy in order to get our car released. Took us the better part of a day plus quite a few euros to get on the road again. A lesson learned! But we would absolutely come back to this hotel again, and Strasbourg is certainly a lovely city.
