Room - average with built in sink and dishwasher. Big balcony and nice leafy suburban area.

Service - average. The lady at reception looks stress and unfriendly! Management could do a little more training about customer service!

Perks - free wi fi in the lobby. The is a washing machine and ironing board in the basement which is very handy,

A short scroll from the beautiful L'Orangerie park. Free parking outside the hotel but be prepared to walk like 10-15 mins to the closest tram stop.

Pleasant stay in quiet suburban Strasbourg. 2 minutes from stroll in Orangerie Park. Then tram into old town(Republique). 10 minute return walk from L'Opera tram stop in evening. Secure parking good, but could have parked for free in nearby streets. Decent breakfast, nice balcony, good size clean room.

Clean, everything as advertised, quiet at night. Wifi in the lobby.
Don't eat at the restaurant in the park: le jardin l'orangerie or something like that. Overpriced, middling to poor french food. Worst meal of a 14 day trip. And not cheap. Not really near public transportation. Parking on the street was easy.

We had 3 days in Strasbourg and couldn't fault this hotel at all. Very friendly and efficient on check in - we had a very nice suite with bedroom and pull out sofa bed for the kids with very big bathroom and separate WC. The balcony was very nice and the small kitchen very adequate. The entire room was very nicely furnished and high quality. The location is a little was out from the city centre but once we'd found the quickest way in this was fine - especially as the hotel is right next to a lovely park with it's own small zoo that the kids loved - especially the baby baboons. All in all we would definitely return and would recommend.
