“good value, nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2011

About 15-20 mins pleasant walk from old town, but very close to the Orangerie Park. Clean, decent size room with balcony, decent breakfast (could do with some fresh fruit and juice instead of canned fruit and orange sugary juice from concentrate but nice pastries, cheese, meats, etc). Free wifi in the hotel lobby. Helpful staff, room available to us from 10am even if official check in time is midday or later, Would stay there again.

“Perfect stay in Strasbourg / CityTrip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 April 2011

Stayed at the J.S. Bach Residence for 3 nights for a city trip with my wife. Located adjacent to the south/east or the Orangerie Park. Spacious hotel rooms with kitchenette and balcony. Great breakfast & nice staff! Only drawback is next tram station (ca. 10 min.) but that is a nice walk in the morning / afternoon. I can highly recommend the residence and would definitely pick this hotel again!

“A great choice for family, I will certainly come again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2010

I would like to express my deep appreciation and thanks for a great stay I had last July in this great hotel for five days in two connecting suits. I had a great pleasure dealing with a great staff too. The location is great, the hotel is very quit and nice for family, the suits are very spacious, clean, have beautiful furniture, new carpet, well equipped, great LCD TV screens, and even pleasant smell. The rooms are perfectly designed and the balcony is suburb. The staff was extremely friendly in guiding us, helping us, and providing all support we needed with everything we asked for, they were dealing with us politely, with smiling faces and doing all what they can do. The girls and ladies in the breakfast buffet were extremely helpful and friendly although they have limited choices, I don't know how to thank them all.

Your hotel is more beautiful that its photos in the web site! And next to it is a large great park and quality workshop. It is only 7 minutes driving from downtown and have free car parking around it. The lobby although small is a pleasant one.

“Been there a few times in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2010

The best hotel I ever stayed in Strasbourg. I also stayed once in Holiday Inn, but...
The staff is extremely polite and helpful, the room service is very good.
The rooms are huge, clean, cosy with splendid balcony.
It is the perfect location if you work with the European Institutions.

“Calm 4 stars”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2010

We were lucky to get a free upgrade to the apartment which is really conveniently designed. It has small kitchen corner, bigger minibar fridge with space for guests food/drinks. Staff is quite helpful and pleasant to deal with. I’d not recommend the hotel to tourists but to those who have to attend European institutions due to its location in calm district, close to a nice park but in 30 walking minutes from more active town’s center. Taxi to the cathedral (center) would cost you approximately 12 Euro.
The only serious thing to improve is breakfast. If it is not included in your rate and you have some time to have in another place – don’t go for it, it is very below average without normal coffee and selection of food as for 4 star hotel.
