We stayed at this hotel in December for the Christmas Markets. It is a lovely hotel, and the location is convenient for the markets. Just a 10 minute walk. The room was nicely laid out and very clean, but hot. It was freezing outside, but we were sweating at night. And our windows opened to the front of the building, so it would have been too noisy to open them. I called and asked for maintenance to come to the room to fix it, and the maintenance person told me that you cannot cool the rooms, they only have heat in the winter. A hotel at this price level should have climate control. We did eat at the restaurant in the hotel one night. Service was slow and inattentive, and it was expensive, but the food was good. And we loved Strasbourg and the surrounding area, it was beautiful!

Stayed in this hotel for a few days over the New Year period.
The hotel is located in a small square beside a pretty church and in close proximity to Place Kleber and a tram interchange.
Check in was swift and friendly and our room looked over a back courtyard. Room was lovely with a reasonably sized bathroom with Hermes bathroom products.
Our safe was locked on arrival and when we phoned reception we were told this couldn't be rectified until after 10.00am the next day...this is the only minor criticism of out trip.
On new years eve we went for a quick drink in the hotel bar. A word of wording to anyone who intends to drink in the bar is to check the menu in advance. Charging 14 euros for a vodka and mixer is in total excess and was our first and last drink !
In terms of general location I would recommend this hotel. Strasbourg is beautiful although pricey and locals were most helpful and friendly when we asked for assistance. Would certainly consider a return visit in the future.
