“Basic accommodation representing good value”

A simple, no frills, easy to find hotel located on the Northern outskirts of Colmar. We have stayed four times - one night each time - whilst in transit between Italy and the Netherlands. The rooms are small and there are few facilities, but the place is cheap and plenty of car parking is available within the hotel grounds. Would probably be very hot in summer (no air conditioning and poor extract ventilation from the WC/shower room). The restaurant was closed on each occasion we stayed, so we ate in Colmar town centre instead - note that Colmar closes down on 11th Nov each year (Remembrance Day) - don't get caught out as we did!

“Very small, tidy, cheap (relatively)”

The hotel was perfectly fine for my needs. The staff was friendly. Many will find the rooms small, but for a quick stay, or for cheaper lodging, this is a solid choice. It is about a ten minute walk or so to the city center (or to most restaurants). If you are coming in after 8, you have to arrange for check in as the front desk normally closes at 8. The breakfast is pricey (8 euros), but there are boulangeries (bakeries) a half block in either direction (I recommend the one further away from town, or right out the main entrance). The TV only has French and German channels. Parking is also free and its easy to find. The wifi was a bit spotty, and in anycase slow.

“Cheap and ok for a short stay”

We stayed at this hotel for one night in July. Price is cheap, but breakfast is a little expensive, so we did not take it.
Location is good: silent by night and walking-distance from Colmar downtown and the restaurants of "Petite Venise".
Wifi included in the room.
The room was small but very clean.
Only problem: we got locked outside the hotel when returning from dinner at 11:00pm! No one had warned us about it. We just got back inside because another guest went out at the time!
Parking is free and safe.
