I stayed at La Maison des Têtes with my husband and my parents for 2 nights in mid-October. Our stay was delightful! Our bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff warm, courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel is centrally located in the old city and within walking distance of most attractions. We highly recommend this hotel.

Maison des Tetes is conveniently located in the old part of Colmar, for those of you driving it is easily found and as we did just drive 20 metres past,turn down the next rue on your right and you are in their secure car park, then check-in.
Reception was very helpful with no problems.Rooms were as previously mentioned very quirky but quite large for Fench standards, and yes it might be a little bit more expensive than others but you do get what you pay for and would not hesitate to check-in again.
By the way there ample restaurants,brasseries and shops conveniently located with just about every turn.

We stayed here for one night and everything was perfect apart from the poor sound proofing of the rooms. This I would tolerate again as everything else ticked the box.

The dining room for dinner was the high point for us as the dinner was excellent in all respects.

The breakfast was a bit of a dissapointment and very small and limited though.

The hotel owned car park is also at the back of the hotel and secure and convenient.

Would definitely return.

We found the Maison des Tetes through this site and were not disappointed, it was a lovely quirky place with rooms straight out of Harry Potter - we had a jacuzzi bath and beautiful views of the courtyard and the old town. The staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English to my high-school French! Would definitely go back
