The hotel seems to have been renovated recently. Everything looks new. I got first class treatment especially at breakfast time as there were not many clients. The food was good, there was a choice of items on the menu. The members of the staff I met were very pleasant and the bed was wonderful. Moreover the room was quiet being far from the busy street. So it was an excellent stay.

The hotel is in a good location for central Colmar (fabulous and touristy!)
The rooms were OK - we had to swap after being mistakenly allocated a smoking room, which reeked!
The beds were comfortable,
The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment and a deep clean - it was clean enough, but well worn.
The buffet breakfast was 14 euros, and adequate - we had trouble locating a reasonably priced breakfast in the town at 9am.
We used the hotel's secure parking (11 euros a day) but there is limited free parking outside the hotel.

This hotel is located at one end of a very nice and popular park about 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk from the old town. The room size is excellent for European hotels, as is the bathroom and a genuine queen size bed. It also has tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge which contains drinks etc. for purchase. Our room rate included breakfast and a gift pack of a couple of bottles of water, a few nibbles and a carry bag. Breakfast was about what you would expect from a large hotel chain. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff were friendly enough without going out of their way. Internet starting at a graduated 4.5 Euros per hour is ridiculously expensive especially when many hotels offer free wi fi, but we have noticed that with most hotels in the Accor chain.
