We always stay at this hotel if we are flying from Manchester Airport for a number of reasons - it is located just outside the airport but included in the price of the room is a taxi transfer both to and from the airport on your return. It’s a really nice hotel, extremely clean with friendly staff (the guy at reception gave our daughter colouring books and crayons for the plane journey), it’s got a pool and gym and you can park your car for the duration of the holiday in its grounds (on a park n fly deal or you can pay per night).
We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and now wouldn’t consider another hotel. This time we had a family room which was really large with two double beds, the beds at the Marriott are sooo comfy by the way!! There was lots of wardrobe space with hangers, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a trouser press. We had a large settee in the room with a chair plus a desk, phone and a hairdryer.
We had a pretty large bathroom with bath and shower, the usual toiletries were included. There is also Wifi in the room at a cost of £6.00 for an hour.
The hotel is a bit like a rabbit warren when trying to find your room but that’s the only negative I can think of, and it’s not a problem at all really. The gym and pool area are really nice and towels are provided at the pool.
The hotel restaurant is really nice, lovely food and excellent service.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.
