I was travelling here on business and only stayed for one but it's safe to say it was the worst night of my life,and I couldn't wait to go home! Cannot fault location as its only a very short walk from the main Deansgate and other key shopping locations. Arrived late in evening,and friendly enough staff on desk.went up to my room,was very basic but very dark and drab! Shortly after arriving in hotel room,noticed that there was a fault with the lock on the door,and it wouldn't lock therefore I had to go all the way back down to reception to inform them,they didn't care and all they told me was that their Maintenance Department don't work in evenings. They offered me a new room,which I accepted and then moved to 5th floor.it smelt of smoke and there was just a dirty stale smell everywhere,but I knew I had to stay and was happy it was only for 1 night! Woke up several times during the night by party goers arriving home,again to be expected. Breakfast next morning absolutely fine and fresh,good value for money but in all honesty probably wouldn't return.

Last stayed here a few years ago and chose it for the location and the fact I got it for £19. For this I chose a family room to give me extra space and I really couldn't fault it. The room was large and clean and despite facing the front of the hotel was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the water from the shower warm which was pretty much all I needed given the time I spent in the room (20 mins on check in, then midnight to 8.30am). The only member of staff I dealt with (check in, he did so on some large self check in machine on my behalf) was perfectly pleasant and wasn't pushy when it came to offering me breakfast or a late check in etc.

stayed at this hotel on the 1st of febuary it was very clean and the staff were polite and helpful.
thefood was also good going back again in the near future

We booked into the family room of this hotel when going to a game. We usually stay opposite Old Trafford but we decided we wanted to stay in the city centre on this trip. We were totally disappointed with this hotel having stayed there a few years ago obviously nothing has been changed since. The carpet was disgusting the walls were marked the pull out bed was all ripped. The corridors were an absolute disgrace with a huge hole where a door handle had been pushed in. The toilets in the bar/breakfast area were also in need of a good clean and paint. Overall a very grubby hotel badly in need of a facelift. On the plus side the staff were very friendly the only positive.
