I stayed in a twin room for one night (a Saturday), and I was very happy with this hotel. I chose this hotel quite simply as it was the cheapest available in Manchester city centre (£60/night). It was cheaper than the other (more central) Ibis hotel, which I believe was the second cheapest at around £75.
The room was comfortable and well equipped with an adjustable heating/cooling system. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Two additional pillows were provided (4 in total) - this is a nice touch and something which is often overlooked in budget hotels. The shower room had a very spacious walk-in shower, albeit with no bath (this was not an issue for me).
Checkout was 12 noon, with breakfast served right up until 12. The breakfast buffet was incredibly reasonably priced, at around £3.75 per person, booked online prior to arrival. Selection of hot food, and continental breakfast items. I ate at 11.30am and there was still plenty of food left, including hot food, despite information in the room stating that this ended at 10am. The breakfast area/bar seems to have been recently refurbished, and is a comfortable space to relax.
Highly recommended.
