Stopped at the radisson to make it easier for my elderly parents before we went on holiday. Bedrooms were clean.Bathroom needed a deep clean. Bedroom was for three people. Main bed was massive. Clean bedding. Massive pillows which sadly deflated into nothing. T V, mini bar,kettle etc were housed in a wooden spherical thing which spoilt a lovely room. Nice small bar area.
Slept well. Early morning call was spot on (called twice).
Some of the hallway carpets were threadbare.
If you cannot get into your room then try the handle both ways (up/down).

we stayed overnight before our early morning flight. The primary reason was the location - to step out of your room and be minutes away from the departure area for me fulfilled Radisson Blu's contract.

The room was clean, although tired but these days a lot of places are. We had been upgraded to business class which was great but only one of everything? Slippers/Dressing Gown. I would have used the pool but that detail had completely passed me by and I had not brought swimwear. Room service brought breakfast at 5.15. Excellent start to our trip.

Would recommend and would use again for location alone.

The hotel is perfect to get to the terminals at Manchester airport.
Our room was lovely, overlooking the runway. It had everything you needed in the room.
Comfy beds and good size bathrooms.
The bar area was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly.
We did have room service, which was quite expensive. £15 for two double baileys!
It was a nice start to our holiday though. Would stay here again but we have stayed in just as nice hotels, for half the price on our previous trips. We always try and stay the night before we fly. We like to try a different hotel each time. Maybe in a year or so we will come back here.

We stayed here recently before our early morning flight. I had good memories of this hotel from a previous stay a few years ago. The location can't be beat when flying as the covered walkway makes it a breeze to get in and out of the terminal. The public areas still appear to be well maintained, but it was the rooms that disappointed most. The first room we were allocated was frankly, shabby. Wallpaper peeling off walls, a broken lamp stand that appeared to have been repaired with gaffer tape, holes in the carpet and scratches all over the furniture - not what we would expect from a four star hotel.
We requested a move to a nicer room. The staff dealt with this promptly, but the room we were moved to was not much better. We have stayed at other hotels on airport which have much nicer rooms - so unless Radisson pay some attention to this we doubt, despite it's location, that we would choose to stay here again.
